Satpura Tiger Reserve or the Satpura National Park is located in Madhya Pradesh, India. This is again a lesser known jungle. The tiger sighting here is very less as compared to the other Madhya Pradesh National parks Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Pench. This is mainly because the Satpura terrain is extremely rugged and favours Leopards more than tigers. In the recent past the tigers in this National park have increased but still it sighting tigers here is not easy because of the rocky paths.
Madhai, Lagda, Keria, Chutkidev are the safari zones here. A boat ride in the river Denwa you can see many residential and migratory birds and crocodiles.
How to reach here – One can reach here by flight to Bhopal or train to Pipariya Railway Station.
